Frampton's, Tunbridge Wells

Visiting my hometown from university always makes me realise how lucky I am to live between 2 such beautiful parts of the world. More importantly, both Norwich and Tunbridge Wells are both hosts to some fab bars and pubs (you can read about some of my fave Norwich bars here).

Framptons is relevatively new to Tunbridge Wells, opening in winter 2016, but has become hugely popular to locals with its fantastic food and huge variety of drinks including cocktails, beer and gin (my fave). I actually went to Framptons shortly after it opened to celebrate Henry's 20th birthday, and we had the most amazing lunch, getting ourselves on the wine at the stroke of midday (not always a good idea).

Believe it or not, Framptons actually used to be Barclay's bank, and its safe vault is now used a place to store barrels of beer, which I thought was quite cool. I think it's great how something as mundane as a bank can be turned into something so different, and serve a purpose in the town so well!

On this occasion I went for the pornstar martini, which was so good. They have a very extensive cocktail and spirits menu, so you're sure to find something to your taste. The food is also diverse and exciting, and remarkably good value for the quality that is offered. I would recommend going there for a late breakfast or a lunch as they offer a huge range of food (including vegetarian etc.) on both that is very tasty and generously portioned.

It's also the perfect place to start of a bar crawl or evening of drinking in Tunbridge Wells as it's perfectly located in the middle of The Pantiles and the High Street where most of my fave pubs and bars are such as 'The Ragged Trousers' and 'The Duke of York' which I'd definitely recommend visiting if you're in the area as well! Frampton's is full of friendly staff who are more than happy to help you choose drinks and clearly have a great knowledge of what they serve. It has a lovely, warm atmosphere and is the perfect place to go on a cold winter's day if you need to wind down and get away from the freezing weather outdoors.

I love the rustic feel and décor of this place, and would definitely recommend you take a visit if you're in the area as you won't be disappointed!

Have you ever visited Tunbridge Wells or Frampton's? Let me know!
