YSL 'Mon Paris' Review

Tuesday, 5 July 2016

It's fair to say that I took advantage of how cheap perfume was on my holidays. This new launch YSL 'Mon Paris' bottle only cost me 70 Euros (around £54) a bargain! I had wanted to purchase this since its launch a couple of weeks back but waited until I was out of the UK to take advantage of the savings!

This perfume is beautiful; floral, fruity and sweet with hints of red berries, patchouli etc As well as that, it's very aesthetically pleasing. The bottle is beautiful and would look perfect on top of any dressing table; the ribbon around the top is also a lovely touch to what is a very sophisticated scent and design.

I think I definitely have misjudged YSL in the past, although I also love the 'Black Opium' scent, a favourite for nights out and evening dates, I'm really not a fan of their more traditional scents like 'Paris' and 'Rive Gauche' but they've definitely started to branch out to scents more appealing to a younger generation.

This scent is very long lasting and is perfect for long summer evenings out and about. Even as an eau de parfum, the fruity top notes mean it's not too overpowering and develops into a deeper scent later which is perfect for all night long.

I absolutely love this scent so far and have been spraying everyday, so it's lucky that I bought the huge 90ml which should last me a fair amount of time!

What's your favourite summer night scent?
