Hey everyone!

So today I thought I would do a post on my current favourites in terms of hair care as I have not yet done a post like this and thought it would be a bit different.

le afro aka why I don't use hairdryers often

For those of you that don't know, I have possibly the thickest hair ever and it has started to get rather long which makes it increasingly difficult to tame so any products which help me combat my daily hair struggles are an instant hit with me and here are just a few of my favourites.

Firstly, the John Frieda 6 'Original effects serum'. I received this product in my February 'You Beauty Discovery' box and I absolutely love it. I do not have words to describe how good this is. When I put it on my (just washed) hair, I wake up the next day with much less frizz then usual but I don't lose my lovely flowing waves. The product says that you only need to use one squirt but I normally use 2 or 3 (or 4...) so I have had to use it very sparingly indeed! Currently a 50ml bottle of this is only £4.99 in Superdrug as they have price on all their John Frieda products, so I will definitely be repurchasing soon because as you can see from the picture, it's pretty much all gone!

Secondly, Invisibobble*. This product was part of a batch sent to me for the SE bloggers meet up and I honestly love it. I really wasn't sure about this at first but my opinion has since been swayed. The Invisibobble is essentially a 'traceless hair ring' that comes in lots of different colours and promises to: avoid headaches, have strong grip, cause no split ends and be invisible/traceless. This instantly appealed to me because these are some of the major annoyances when it comes to using generic hair bands. It also is clever in that it quickly moulds back to its original shape after you have used it. The Invisibobble promises and it certainly delivers! It currently retails for £3.79 and although that may sound a little expensive, these are extremely long lasting and will probably last for years to come so it's definitely worth investing in if you haven't tried yet!

Finally the Tangle Teezer*. This product was made for people like me: wow. I picked to keep the compact style one because I loved the colour (I do love gold) and the fact that it is compact was very appealing to me because it means I can take it out and about with me and is also a great size for holidays ect. This product seems to somehow effortlessly glide through my hair whether its in a mess or not and it never ceases to amaze me how well it works. If you, like me, are prone to a hairbrush or two getting stuck in your hair then this product is for you but it is fab for all hair types just to make hair styling that little bit easier: good job Tangle Teezer.

Love from Lottie x
